Mr. Kong Athit, CLC president, attends a training on “Capacity Building for Trade Unions on Green Skills and Green Jobs” at Cambodiana Hotel on May 20, 2025.
This training has five objectives:
1. To provide foundational knowledge on green jobs and green skills
2. To raise awareness of environmental sustainability and its relevance in various sectors.
3. To explore how trade unions can advocate for sustainable work practices.
4. To equip participants with practical tools and strategies to integrate green skills into their workplace.
5. To foster collaboration among trade unions in promoting a just transition to a green economy.
The training, organized by the National Trade Union Confederation (NTUC) with the support of ILO and ILO-China Partnership Project, was participated by 38, where 50% of them comprised women.
