Description

1. Project Background
Cambodian Labour Confederation (CLC) cooperate with Transparency International Cambodia (TI Cambodia), Coalition of Cambodian Apparel Worker Democratic Union (C.CAWDU), and Independent Democracy of Informal Economy Association (IDEA) receive support from European Union (EU) to implement a project, “Better Living Condition for All Worker (Believe)”. It is a two-year project.

The main objectives of this project is:

Workers, group of workers, union leaders, and their support networks can enjoy their right to freedom of association, safely hold meaningful public debate, and influence the economic decisions. Sub-grantees will be responsible for providing support to promote labour rights, rights of self-employed individual, and formal and informal workers of 60 new organizations and existing at the sub-factory, associations of informal workers in enterprises and SEZ level, expert human rights training and linking the Action to independent journalists and media agencies to amplify the plight of workers.

On the basic of the project, we needs joint effort from third parties to implement in partnership with us. to reach the proposed objective. For organizations who are interested, please follow below mentioned:

2. Bid Components

We are Requesting for Proposals from relevant trade unions, media institutions and human rights organizations, and associations for the implementation of the following activities:
• Provide training and coaching on social media, basic news reporting, produce and publish investigative stories to members of CLC and trade union leaders in 25 provinces/municipal;
• Organize local union members, strengthening union organizational structure, provide legal consultations, and lobby the government and employers or companies; and
• Provide trainings, coaching fundamental human rights, Anti-harassment, and business human rights to CLC members and union leaders.

3. Submission Requirements

How to Apply

Interested human rights organization/media/trade unions/teacher associations shall submit a proposal expressing they are able to deliver the services and met the selection criteria (maximum 4 pages) along with budget indication/estimation to:

Evaluation grid in the attachment will be used to evaluate your proposals.

Your expression of interest should be submitted no later than 29 February 2024 at 5:00PM with subject line: Support to HR&D(Sub-grant)
