Description

To coordinate and implement the activities of the Migrant Worker Resource Centre (MRC) through promotion and protection of the rights of Cambodian migrant workers (including prospective) and their families through the provision of free legal assistance, provide community capacity building activities and consultation on safe labour migration to key stakeholders, and through their broader advocacy activities continue to promote and increase the decent work opportunities and labour rights protections available for migrant workers.

  • Manage and coordinate the Finance, Administration, Human Resources and MRC office
  • Coordinate and implement the project activities contained in the project action plan
  • Develop the specific action and budget plans for project implementation
  • Monitor, evaluate and write the reports of project to the CLC and donor
  • Respond and cooperate with donor and partners in providing information of project
  • Prepare documents and list of expenditures for clearance with CLC’s Finance Office
  • Communicate with authorities at all levels, partner institutions, national and international organizations, unions, community groups for project implementation
  • Coordinate and produce documents, materials and tools for trainings, seminars, forums, campaigns and meetings
  • Provide consultation services on Safe Migration, Labor Rights, Laws and Labour, Vocational Training to migrant workers
  • Participate in the meetings with authorities, partner institutions, national and international organizations, unions, community groups in the province
  • Build a strong team spirit, capacity building, coaching and mentoring for project team to implement the project smoothly
  • Develop a system for managing and recording the data and information for the project
  • Mission in villages, communes, districts where the target areas of the project
  • Provide other necessary support services related to the project to migrant workers
  • Communicate with foreign partners/institutions for project implementation
  • Organizing and form the network groups in providing the education, dissemination and raise awareness about Safe migration, Labor rights, Laws, Labour and Vocational Training Services migrant workers

Requirement

  • University degree in social science, management, education, English or related fields
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in working with NGOs, associations and social work
  • Ability to work independently and with the team
  • Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills
  • Good speaking and writing in English
  • Good computer skills of Ms. Office.
  • Good using social media (Email, telegram, WhatsApp…)
