Mr. Ath Thorn, President of the Cambodian Labor Union (CLC) and his colleagues attended the NTUC Annual Meeting to review the work in 2021 and the direction to implement the work in 2022 on December 2-3, 2021 in Siem Reap.

After discussions, the meeting decided to elect Mr. Ath Thorn as the President of the National Council of Trade Unions in Cambodia and Mr. Sam Soeun as the Vice President and to approve the priority work for 2021 related to issues such as professional development, health and Occupational safety, post-Covid-19 employment status, social work, capacity building of women and youth, wage setting in the tourism sector, promotion of trade union rights, labor rights, working conditions for workers, especially vulnerable workers, and holding tripartite meetings in the field of tourism employment.
