On September 9, 2024, CLC president Mr. Kong Athit was invited to join and talk to 45 participants on the trainings on “The Rights to Freedom of Expression and Safe Speaking” and “Influential and Human Rights Advocacy and Preparing for a Successful Lobbying” at Community Legal Education Center (CLEC), Phnom Penh.
The training aims to strengthen the capacity of union leaders on the FoA following international law and the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the current characteristics of incitement and defamation in Cambodia, and the practical legal methods.
This 2-day training, 09-10 September, was conducted by the Cambodian Human Rights Action Coalition (CHRAC Human Rights) and co-organized by CLC Cambodia, CCAWDU ស៊ីខៅឌូ, IDEA, and TIC Cambodia with the financial support of the European Union through BELIEVE project.
