Tripartite Meeting of the National Commission to Monitor the Implementation of the International Labor Convention, which Cambodia has ratified
On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Mr. Kong Athit, President of CLC, representing the workers has attended the tripartite meeting of the National Commission to Monitor the Implementation of the International Labor Convention, which Cambodia has ratified to monitoring and the progress of their work at the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training.
The meeting was chaired by excellency Mrs. Sovann Vannaroth, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training and Permanent Vice president of the National Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the International Labor Convention, which Cambodia has ratified ,With the participation of the tripartite composition, including representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the General Commissioner of the National Police, the Employers’ Association and the unions as members of the commission.
The meeting focused on strengthening the tripartite mechanism to promote the implementation of international labor conventions in Cambodia.
