A meeting about the ILO’s project on “the strengthening safety at work”

Mr. Ath Thorn, CLC president, and his colleagues joined the meeting about the ILO’s project on “the strengthening safety at work” which will be implemented in 2024-2026.

This project is designed to protect the workers from any risks that can be dangerous to their lives and mental issues.

Additionally, this project is going to promote the cooperation and inclusion between Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (FPRW) such as;
1. Regional
-To strengthen the Occupational Safety and Health which is the 5th FPRW and Mental health of the employee in the ASEAN regional countries.
2. Nation
-To support the Cambodia OSH’s system to respond to the physical and social risks including mental health at work.
-To encourage and support the Cambodian government in the implementation of the 3rd master plan.
3. Workplace
-To build the capacity of relevant stakeholders to respond to mental health issues by assessing the psychological and social risks regarding the workers’ mental health issues.
