Around the world, climate change has harmed people, animals, and plants. Deforestation, industrial pollutants, the usage of plastics, and energy are the causes of these consequences.
Mr. Ath Thorn, president of CLC Cambodia, invited more than 70 representatives of unions and NGOs representing various organizations from more than 10 countries in both Asia and Europe to plant trees as a symbol of environmental protection in the northeastern front of Angkor Wat Temple in the program, Campaign on Trees and Grasses Planting for Preserving the Angkor World Heritage Site, at the afternoon of September 25, 2023.
He also called on all relevant bodies and Cambodian citizens to hand in hand to protect the environment by starting to plant at least one tree, not using plastic bags, not throwing rubbish indiscriminately, monitoring and promoting the implementation of the relevant bodies, stopping deforestation, and pollute the environment.
In addition, the teams also guided all participants to visit Angkor Wat.
